Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Inner Health Cat Food is made for cats of all sizes. Close package tightly between feedings or store product in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Regular veterinary visits are recommended to ensure your cat's good health. Be sure to provide plenty of fresh, clean water daily. Talk to your veterinarian about your cat's ideal weight and adjust your amounts accordingly. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your cat’s age, activity level and overall fitness. Feeding Amounts: Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Start weaning kittens on Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Inner Health as soon as they begin to chew solid food, usually 3-4 weeks of age. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age). Feed growing kittens 2-3 times the amount recommended for the expected adult weight, in three meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months. Pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. Feed pregnant females 1.5 times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight. Feed lactating females up to three times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.
